Having held the first edition of 2011 “Quality Improvement Session” ( or Mini-Seminar ) with Senior Officers from KLSM Pool at Chennai in May, the Second such event was organized at New Delhi on 26/July/2011 at Hyatt Regency.
The first edition of 2011 “Quality Improvement Session” ( or Mini-Seminar ) with Senior Officers from KLSM Pool was organized at Chennai on 24/May/2011.
"K" Line Ship Management Company (India) Pvt Limited (KLSM India) is steaming full ahead and spreading its wings in to reach areas beyond the shores of Mumbai.
The second “Senior Officers Quality Improvement Sessions” cum social gathering was held for Western region of India on July 26, 2010 at ITC Maratha, Mumbai and was attended by 15 of management level Officers from our pool of seafarers.
KLSM President Mr. S. Kuboshima, made a special trip to Mumbai on this occasion to meet & apprise all delegates with latest developments. The delegates who attended were from Tanker & Container pool, and in all there were Masters - 3, Chief Officers – 6, Chief Engineer – 1 and First Asst. Engineers – 5. We received valuable inputs and feedback through open forum and discussions on various topics.
Capt Tomomi Kaneko (MSG), Mr. M. Takeuchi (TSG), Capt Santosh Rele (QCG),
Capt I. A. Juvale (Training & Auditing), Capt A. Bhattacharya (QSHE) also participated in the event. There were a few presentations, including –

b) Combating Piracy in GOA by BMP - Capt S. Rele
c) “Training & Auditing, The Past, The Present and Future Plans” - Capt I. A. Juvale
Capt Rajesh Rangra & First Asst. Engineer Mr. Santosh Kattimani also gave their presentations & shared onboard experience with all delegates.
KLSM seminar gives our delegates the information & hands on experience relating to work in a clear & factual manner. The event also provides KLSM with an opportunity to interact & exchange feedback / ideas for future improvement.
KLSM annual seminar will be held to the end of this year 2010.
